The approach has been a group-based one with individuals being the units. SISDA has thought a bit differently. It has taken family rather than individual woman as unit. SISDA believes that a shift is now required to clearly spell out the importance of the well being of families and importance of family values. This particular emphasis of SISDA on family rather than individual makes its Mission Statement different from most other organizations. |
